RECCO inside

At independence we have been focussing on quality and safety ever since. Even a small safety bonus can be crucial one day.

This is why our helmet Hi-Tec as well as our harnesses (except passenger harnesses) now have an integrated RECCO® reflector. Those small, light reflectors by RECCO® originate from avalanche rescue and make it possible to find persons, who had an accident and got lost. For winter sports they usually are integrated into jackets. The active search system is used on helicopters. Thus the basic system already is in use and a good opportunity to use it for aviation sports as well. The reflectors are passive and don’t need any power supply.

RECCO®-reflectors increase the chance to be detected quickly after an accident and that is why we strive for integrating them into our products.
